One Country, Indivisible: A Life Long Mission Of Connection

The real power of Canada is our strength as an undivided nation. And yesterday, we as a country decided to remain stronger together. Thank you for staying with us, Alberta.

I wasn't born in Canada, but I was born while our family was posted at a military base in Europe. We first came to Canada when we were deployed to the Yukon Territories. After being reassigned to another post in Europe, we came back to Canada once my father left the military life. Our first stop was Ontario, then we moved to Calgary, Alberta, where I spent 40 years. Next stop for me was British Columbia—I moved to Vancouver Island in 2018.

There is so much beauty across this land. Not only the incredible landscapes, trees, mountains, and waters, but even more than that, the people. When people say that Canadians are kind, it is the truth. It is seriously who Canadians are. And I hope it remains that way.

Connection is what has always been so important to me. Make Love Your Compass® is just one way that I want to share love, not only for Canada but for a world in need of more kindness, love, and connection. Those things are what make us so strong.
